Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Integrasi teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi keniscayaan untuk menunjang kompetensi abad ke-21 yaitu aspek Learning and Innovation Skills (4C). Salah satu teknologi yang relevan untuk diperkenalkan kepada peserta didik adalah ChatGPT, sebuah sistem kecerdasan buatan berbasis pemrosesan bahasa alami yang mampu mendukung proses belajar secara interaktif dan efisien. Penguasaan penggunaan ChatGPT menjadi kompetensi penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa, maka dari itu dilaksanakan pengabdian mengenai ChatGPT kepada siswa di SMPN 3 Gondang Mojokerto. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, siswa diperkenalkan pada konsep dasar ChatGPT, cara penggunaannya, kelebihan dan kekurangannya, serta potensi penyalahgunaan yang perlu dihindari. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penyampaian materi secara interaktif dan pelatihan praktik penggunaan platform ChatGPT didampingi oleh Tim Pengabdian. Penggunaan ChatGPT bagi siswa SMP memiliki potensi besar dalam menyikapi perkembangan digital saat ini dan meningkatkan kompetensi abad 21.
